You can take care of your physical well-being in a variety of ways to which ever suits your personal preferences. For example, maintaining weekly physical exercise, meal plans that consists of a balanced amount of food groups or ensuring you get enough sleep and rest
Physical Exercise - Making sure that you maintain enough physical exercise is vital to your physical well-being. Going to sports clubs such as football, netball or rugby are effective ways for teenagers to keep themselves fit. Other ways to maintain physical well-being include weekly gym visits, hiking and dance classes
Meal Plans - Having a unhealthy diet can lead to a variety of health risks. Meal plans need a balanced amount of all 7 food groups :
- Carbohydrates
- Proteins
- Fruit and Veg
- Dairy
- Fats
- Minerals
- Water
Sleep - Teenagers need a lot of time for their body to replenish and refresh due to school work and socialising. You should be aiming for 8 hours sleep minimum night, as well as making time for rest breaks throughout the day for yourself.
